7 Months

Big Dude has grown to 7 months old!!!

Looking back on month 6:

World Cup Gear!

Hellooo top tooth!

Practicing driving while Dan takes a work call at the Lowe's parking lot.

If a toy has a tag, the tag might be his favorite part.

Visiting Uncle Mike and keeping safety a key priority with the glasses.

Everybody, lie down.

Are they blue or are they hazel? Whatever. They're pretty.

 "6 month" check up. 30% for Length. 90% for weight (22lbs) and head.

 Exhausting day with a potential stage five clinger so I just held him during his nap in a desperate attempt to avoid the transfer to the crib and guaranteed meltdown scene.

 

He is all over the place, relatively speaking. 1.

3. He sat himself up!!

 Not sure is he is pulling up or grabbing at his stuff. Either way, he is interested in heights. 

Buzz cut. So over using shears to clip his hair and hurting myself and too many close calls with hurting him. 

He has four teeth! The last one was a painful day or two for him.

He can get on his hands and knees and rock back and forth

Pushes himself backward while on his tummy

Rolls around on the floor to new places off the blanket. Often gets stuck with his back legs under the couch.

He got to getting himself face down in his swing so we have ended that relationship. We are all crib and it is tough.

I stopped breastfeeding last week. 

He has been on baby food for a month now. The cute newness has worn off.

We go through his entire stash of bibs each week

Making "guh" sounds

He is a real handful in the bathtub. Loves to dive for his tub toys. 

7 month photo sesh! 

6 Months

Late for sure....I don't like using our home laptop as it is slow as molasses, but here we go! 

Looking back on the parts of May and June that Bruce was five months and turned 6 months:

One tooth popped up with no heads up for us. Bruce was a very cool customer about it. May 24

Chats with us

Smiles all the time. I like to growl and bare my teeth at him, as long as I follow it up with a laugh and a smile he is all about it and gets excited and anxious about the next growl to come. SO CUTE!

Loves raspberries on his tummy and getting tickled on his thighs and waist

Yells in church and eats the program

Gets in a giggle fit when watching Lily play

Tries to sit up in his carseat which is quite helpful when getting him out.

Has had trouble sleeping through the night

Reaches for iphones, remotes, and faces on facetime

Sits up in the shopping cart!!! Kind of wobbly but it works.

Reaches for things at the grocery store. Thank goodness for short baby arms.
