How Far Along? 28 weeks 4 days.
Sleep? I'm getting some really good sleep lately. Still waking up to go potty but I can get back to bed easy AND breath through my nose! Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel from this upper resp/sinus problem. Thank you, TEVA amoxicillin!
Total Weight Gained/Lost? 17 :( I have been very inactive since I got sick. And my appetite never changed so I need to get to steppin.
Food Craving? All the ads for pumpkin anything make me swoon. Also wanting lump crap on something/anything.
What I miss? I miss my normal tummy. At times it feels like my skin is ripping apart. I have stretch marks all around the bottom and sides below the bump. It makes me sad to see those and so I complain to Dan to which he replies, "You're pregnant?!" and then depending on the severity of my despair we laugh or I punch his shoulder.
Aversions? Strong smells. Same as before.
How am I feeling OVERALL? I am so thankful to have Dan through all of this. He gets to hear about all the things I am researching and experiencing. It's fun to be excited and grossed out together.
Saturday was tough watching the Tigers lose to Georgia. Such a heart breaker but I kept my hormones in check and did not cry. Though it was really tough to hold back. LSU (these past few years) usually wins in those last minute situations.
Milestones/Best Moment of the Week? Baby is about 2.5 pounds. I love when I get a braxton hicks contraction. Last week I had about four and this week I just had my first. They kind of hurt but it's totally bearable and they're mostly exciting.
Morning sickness? Nausea same as usual.
Movement? Last night Dan got to finally experience the big kicks baby boy is putting out. Dan asked how I handled this all day. I said, "right". lol But it is comforting every time he kicks because I am reassured he is there.
Names/Gender Boy. No name just yet.. We don't really care to lock in a name.
What I'm looking forward to? Maybe this year whoever's team wins, aTm or LSU...gets first right to dress the baby in their school colors right off the bat...that would be amazing. I'll talk with Dan about it.
Also we have scheduled our baby classes!!! Whoo-hoo!! CPR for infant, child, and adult; Prepared childbirth; baby care class; and breastfeeding. Can't wait to learn!!
