Good Vs Evil

Last Saturday Dan and I got to go with my Grandparents to the Texas A&M game vs Alabama. I had excited nerves all week leading up to the game. The hype surrounding it was insane.

Gran Gran drove to the parking/tailgating spot Friday night and roped it off so Saturday we showed up to a our preserved area around 11. Traffic was a bit nuts.

We walked to the MSC to check out the new design and enjoy the ac then we were off to The Zone to snack on rich people food and peek into the president's board room (or something like that). Very fancy. I was a good wife and didn't wear any purple or gold. Dan doesn't wear his colors to my games so it's only fair. BUT I did bring my LSU "Beat Bama" button because you should always "Beat Bama".

Pregame warm up. The student section was almost full already.

Flyover with propeller planes from the last World War. Bombers of some kind. Loved the war paint under the wings.

Yells prior to teams coming on the field. Hump it, Ags! I can't wait till they close in the stadium. It's just going to get louder!!

Farmer's Fight! There was an A/V fail in this. The people at the controls for not band music started playing some goofy music during the yells. But you can still hear the students, of course.

Dan's favorite start up to an Aggie hype video, that little tune at the beginning. Dan's whoop is the one you hear right when it starts. Highlights from last season and I pan over to show the student section with their towels up and swinging. It's hard to see. Sorry.

That video continued. sorry for the shakes and the fact that I can't really record the screen. That's why I panned up and down so often trying to get a little more of the picture.

You can barely see the stairs on the student side. People standing everywhere.

First play after the kick off.

Half time.

Ohhss and Awwss from the Student section as the front line of the band moves the banners around. I just love the Band's announcer. Best College voice (behind Jim Hawthorne for the Tigers...cuz that's my heart. And there's never a chance for rain).

With my Mamaw.

Refs were intermittently sufficient. Someone in front of us during the second half yelled at them asking them to stop being "so officious". Well said, sir.

The crap with Bama getting fake injuries every time aTm got a first down was killer.

Hopefully lessons were learned (DEFENSE and offense's lame play calls that held Manziell back) and aTm can continue on the war path to a great bowl game at the end of the season. I'm not gunna say Nat'l Champ stuff cuz they still gotta play LSU :)

Way to go, Ags! Amazing game regardless! So glad we got to go!!
